The Morelia Film Festival, held in one Mexico’s most stunning cities, a UNESCO World Heritage site, promotes local talent while creating a unique meeting point between filmmakers, audiences and the international film community.

The screenings are open to the public and all those interested are invited to attend. The films will be exhibited at the Festival’s main venue, the Cinepolis Morelia Centro, as well as Cinépolis Plaza Morelia and Cinépolis La Huerta. Free open-air screenings will be held in Plaza Valladolid and Patzcuaro’s Teatro Emperador.

Tickets for individual films will be sold at the theater’s box office on the day of the screening or online, subject to availability. Box offices will also sell festival passes, valid for five film screenings.

Audiences will have a chance to participate in question and answer sessions with the actors and filmmakers who will be present at many of the screenings.

Other than the film screenings, the public may also go to free of charge conferences, round tables, exhibitions and many other events where they will meet leading Mexican and international film industry personalities.
