1. In the national competitive sections, prizes will be awarded to two short films (in the categories of fiction and animation), one documentary short with a running time of up to forty minutes, one documentary feature with a running time of over forty minutes, and one feature film. Each prize shall consist of The Eye, a trophy designed by Michoacán artist Javier Marín, a diploma, and $100,000 pesos.

  2. One short film from Michoacán shall be awarded The Eye, a diploma, and $50,000 pesos.

  3. One short film screenplay from Michoacán shall be awarded a diploma and $10,000 pesos.
