The selection of the producers was made through the respective cinematographic authorities of the participant countries.


The third session of Morelia Lab, a production workshop and seminar for aspiring producers from Latin America, will take place during the Morelia International Film Festival’s fifth edition.

Morelia Lab offers six days of conferences and master classes on international co-production partnerships, sales, distribution, as well as a series on case studies and a project development workshop.

The Lab will take place in Morelia, Michoacán, from Monday, October the 8th to Saturday the 13th, 2007.

3.- Produire au Sud Workshop. Co-production Partnerships in Europe.

  • PITCHING THEORY. Successful presentation skills and techniques.

Objectives: to study your project’s strengths; to organize a concise presentation without leaving anything out; to master pitching techniques.

  • WORK STATIONS. The project’s strong a weak points will be analyzed (script flaws / co-production partnerships and funding / distribution and marketing / how to make a film package and final pitch.
