    Alamar by Pedro González Rubio (Best Feature and Audience Award FICM 2009) won the Best Feature Film at the XXVIII Uruguayan International Film Festival on Saturday, August 14. More than 200 productions from 30 countries participated in the festival.

  • FICM and the Cineteca Nacional to present Monsivías Imprescindible

    The Morelia International Film Festival and the Cineteca Nacional will present Monsiváis Imprescindible, a cycle of 12 classic Mexican films, curated by film critic Carlos Bonfil. Two of the films, El compadre Mendoza (1933) and ¡Vámonos con Pancho Villa! (1936), both by Fernando de Fuentes, are restored copies.
