Zoogocho by Bernardo Arellano, Best Short Documentary FICM 2008Zoogocho in Escenarios 2009
The VII Encuentro Internacional de Documentales Escenarios 2009, that will be held from July 2nd to the 9th in the Centro de Capacitacion Cinematografica (CCC) film school and the Cineteca Nacional, will screen the winner films of FICM 2008. Those are: Zoogocho by Bernardo Arellano, Best Short Film Documentary; Siete Instantes by Diana Cardozo, Musa Award for Best Documentary Filmed by a Woman, and Reencuentros: entre la memoria y la nostalgia by Yolanda Cruz, Special Mention for indigenous movie or video. -

The Mexican film Cinco dias sin Nora, first work of Mariana Chenillo, received the award for Best Directing in the 31st Edition of the Moscow International Film Festival. The film was in the official selection with other 15 movies.
