Is this your first time at the Morelia International Film Festival?
This is the second time I’ve participated with a short film and the first time that my work has been selected.  On two other occasions I participated in the screenwriting competition.

Is the 7th Morelia International Film Festival the first festival your film has participated in? If not, please describe the film’s trajectory at other festivals and the recognition it may have received? For example, the Huesca International Film Festival 2008 (Special mentioned).
It’s the first festival in which Di la bella morte will be shown.

How did you become interested in the theme of the film?
I’ve always been inspired by observing sad events, but we often don’t ask ourselves what is the origin of this apparent sadness. Perhaps what appears to be sad may come from a condition that is radically different.  What motivates people or characters to make decisions or reach a certain point?

What was the biggest challenge you faced making the film?
At first just being able to make it, then the short amount of time we seemed to have to finish it.

What are your expectations for the Morelia International Film Festival?

Having the most important showcase in the country to present my work is the greatest value of participating in the festival.

What kind of films, in terms of genre and subject matter, would you like to keep making?
Dramas, tragedies, black humor comedies, surrealism and dark stories.
