Synopsis:

A depressed and solitary Frenchman wanders around a fishing community on the Mexican Pacificcoast. After spending days in this place of stunning natural beauty, his emotional state doesn’t seem to improve. He is not interested in anything or anybody.When he meets Pablo, a fisherman who shows him his simple way of life, Julien starts to feel better.

No, I participated in 2004 with El Pasajero, in 2006 with Verde and in 2008 with Wadley.

Is the 7th Morelia International Film Festival the first festival your film has participated in? If not, please describe the film’s trajectory at other festivals and the recognition it may have received? For example, the Huesca International Film Festival 2008 (Special mentioned).
Yes, it’s the world premier.


How did you become interested in the theme of the film?
After reading the story El Calambre by Gao Xingjian.



What was the biggest challenge you faced making the film?
The few days we had to shoot (11), not having a script, the improvisation of the scenes as well as the very small budget.



5.  What are your expectations for the Morelia International Film Festival?
I hope the theater will be full and that we can share a question and answer session with the audience.


What kind of films, in terms of genre and subject matter, would you like to keep making?
I don’t limit myself to any one theme or genre.
