In 2014, his debut documentary El Silencio de la Princesa premiered within the Official Selection of the 12th edition of the Morelia International Film Festival and won the José Rovirosa Award for Best Mexican Documentary of 2015. Currently he is in the post-production stage of his second documentary Tan cerca de las nubes.
