Image Hernaiz, Marta She graduated from a B.A. in Film and Television at the Centro de Diseño, Cine y Televisión (CENTRO) in Mexico City, and from an M.F.A. at the Sarajevo Film Academy. She is the producer and photographer of the feature films La asunción de José (2016) by Juan Rocha, and I am God, Dogma I by Jorge Bolado, which is currently in post-production. Her short film Dobro (2016), part of the Official Selection of the 14th Morelia International Film Festival, has participated in festivals such as the New York International Film Festival, in the United States; the Cinéfondation section of the 2016 Cannes Film Festival; the Films Femmes Méditerranée, in Marseille; and the Sarajevo International Film Festival, among others. Dobro has won several awards, including a Special Mention at the Festival Internazionale Del Cinema Povero, in Italy; and the Award for Best Mexican Short Film and a Special Mention from the Women in Film and Television Association at the Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF), among others. She is currently in post-production of her first feature film La caótica vida de Nada.
