NO ME SIGAS World Premiere at the 23rd FICM

The horror film No me sigas, directed by Ximena García Lecuona and Eduardo Lecuona, had its world premiere at the 23rd Morelia International Film Festival (FICM).

Carla, obsessed with social media fame, stages a fake haunting video in her apartment. But what begins as a harmless lie turns into a nightmare when a real entity crosses through the screen and stays in her life.

Eduardo Lecuona remarked that while the film is produced by the American company Blumhouse, it was made by Mexican talent, “that makes it Mexican horror.”

The directors were joined by actor Yankel Stevan, who promised the film "will really scare you" and mentioned it was shot in genuinely terrifying locations; actresses Karla Coronado and Julia Maqueo, attending FICM for the first time, also joined the event.

No me sigas will be available in theaters on October 30th.
