Participó en el 3er Riviera Maya Film Festival (RMFF) y en el 17º Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato (GIFF por sus siglas en inglés) con su ópera prima Los Hámsters (2014), ganadora del premio a Mejor Ópera Prima en el 5º Festival Internacional de Cine Distrital: Cine y Otros Mundos, Ciudad de México. Obtuvo una nominación al Ariel a Mejor Documental en la 56ª entrega de los premios Ariel, México, por su cortometraje documental Conversaciones de un matrimonio (2014), por el que ganó el premio a Mejor Cortometraje en el 18º Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de Santiago (FIDOCS), Chile.
