En 2012 fundó la productora de cine independiente Los no ricos films, participó en el Guadalajara Talents 2012 y fue parte del Jurado Mezcal en el 29º Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG). Participó en el 11º Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) con su cortometraje de ficción El río ahí entre los árboles (2013); un año después presentó Los pájaros miran hacia el norte que participó en el 14º Encuentro Internacional de Estudiantes de Cine en el marco del 63º Festival de Cine de San Sebastián, España, y en el 36º Festival del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano en la Habana, Cuba. En 2015 fue parte del Laboratorio para un cine posible con los cineastas Matías Piñeiro y Nicolás Pereda; además, fue parte del DocuLab Guadalajara. Uno de sus últimos trabajos, El brillo de tus ojos se extinguirá con la oscuridad del mundo (2016), Selección Oficial del 14º FICM, se ha presentado en festivales como el 44º Festival Internacional de Cine de Huesca, España. En la actualidad es beneficiario de la Beca Jóvenes Creadores del Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (FONCA) y se encuentra en el montaje de su tesis fílmica en el Centro Universitario de Estudios Cinematográficos (CUEC-UNAM).
