Estudió la licenciatura en Relaciones Internacionales en el Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM); y en Nueva York un diplomado en Dirección y Edición de Documentales en The New School y un MBA en la Universidad de Columbia. Participó en el 9° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) con su cortometraje documental Lánzate sin mirar (2010), que recorrió más de treinta festivales alrededor del mundo; entre ellos, el 14° Festival Internacional de Cine Documental DOCSBARCELONA, el 31° Festival de Cine de Cambridge, el 35° Festival des Films du Monde de Montréal y el 8° Corto Circuito The Latino Shorts Film Festival of New York. Obtuvo, por esta obra, el premio a Mejor Documental en el 10° St. Petersburg International Festival of Debut and Student Films BEGINNING; el Premio del Público en el 35° Annual Invitational Film Show Fine Cuts, Nueva York; y una Mención Especial en la sección documental del 11° Festival Internacional de Cortometraje de Lille, Francia.
