Miel obtuvo el premio a Mejor Actriz y una Mención Honorífica en el 6° Shorts México, Festival Internacional de Cortometrajes de México (FICMEX) y una Mención Honorífica en el 11° Festival Internacional de Escuelas de Cine en Uruguay. Su cortometraje Sangre de mi sangre (2014) obtuvo el Premio Talento Emergente Profesional del 1er A Shaded View On Fashion Film (ASVOFF) en México. Su cortometraje Malva (2015) forma parte de la Selección Oficial del 13° FICM. Actualmente se encuentra preparando su ópera prima Las olas.
