Su cortometraje documental Onces (2002) participó, entre otros, en el 1er Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM); en el 3er Encuentro Hispanoamericano de Cine y Video Documental Independiente Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces, México; y en el 10° Festival de Cine Independiente de Barcelona L’Alternativa. Obtuvo, por su cortometraje documental Morada (2003), el Premio del Público a Mejor Cortometraje en el 1er FICM; el Mikeldi de Oro a Mejor Documental en el 46° Festival Internacional de Cine Documental y Cortometraje de Bilbao ZINEBI; y el Primer Lugar en el 1er Festival Residus Millor en Curt, Barcelona, entre otros. Obtuvo una Mención Especial en el 7° FICM por su ópera prima Vaho (2009), ganadora del Premio Especial del Jurado en el 10° Festival Internacional de Cine de Marrakech (FIFM, por sus siglas en francés) y nominada al Ariel a Mejor Música en la 53ª entrega de los Premios Ariel, México. Su largometraje de ficción Viento aparte (2014) fue premiado en el 5° Taller de Perfeccionamiento de Guión “Alejandro Galindo”, organizado por la Sociedad Mexicana de Directores-Realizadores de Obras Audiovisuales.
