Image Munguía Ortíz; Jaime Dirección, Edición, Fotografía, Guión, Producción, Sonido Estudió la licenciatura en Artes Visuales, con especialidad en Cine, Video y Animación, en la Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos (UAEM), Cuernavaca, México. Es artista visual especializado en video, fotografía, animación, producción y nuevos medios. Actualmente, trabaja en el video mapping y la video-instalación, mediante la experimentación de diversas técnicas de animación digital, proyección, holografía y manipulación de video en vivo, enfocado a la exploración de la relación del sonido y la imagen. Además, trabaja como artista independiente para marcas como Microsoft, Dell, IBM, Volkswagen y SEAT. Participó en el Reto DocsDF 201, y en el Guadalajara Talents y el Doculab.2 del 26° Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG). Obtuvo la Beca Jóvenes Creadores del Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (FONCA) en el periodo 2008-2009. Su obra ha recorrido una decena de muestras y festivales en México, entre ellos, dos ediciones del Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). Obtuvo el premio a Mejor Cortometraje Documental en el 3er FICM con Teatro mágico (2004), que formó parte, además, de la Selección Oficial del 1er Ambulante Gira de Documentales; del 4° Encuentro Hispanoamericano de Cine y Video Documental Independiente Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces; y de la 3er Bienal de Cortometraje Cuadro, entre otros. Ganó una Mención Especial del Jurado y el Premio del Público en el 3er Festival de Cine Universitario Kinoki, Ciudad de México, por su cortometraje documental La ciudad de las Arenas (2007). Participó en el 4° Encuentro Contra el Silencio Todas las Voces con Retrato de un contorno (2009), por el que obtuvo una Mención Especial a Cortometraje Documental en el 7° FICM. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult.
