Su obra ha recorrido más de diez festivales alrededor del mundo. Participó en el 7° Festival Internacional de Cine de Horror de la Ciudad de México Macabro con su cortometraje de ficción La espera (2008). Su cortometraje de ficción, En la casa nueva (2009), se presentó en el 7° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM), dentro de la sección Cortometrajes Mexicanos para Niños, y en el 10° Festival de Cortometraje Mexicano Yucatán. Obtuvo una Mención Especial en el 4° Oaxaca Film Fest, México, por su cortometraje de ficción Corre sin mirar atras (2011), por el que participó, además, en el 28° Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara (FICG); en el 16° Festival Internacional de Cine de Guanajuato (GIFF por sus siglas en inglés); en el Short Film Corner del 67° Festival de Cannes, Francia; y en el 35° Festival Internacional del Nuevo Cine Latinoamericano, La Habana, Cuba, entre otros. Obtuvo el apoyo del 12° Concurso Nacional de Proyectos de Cortometraje, otorgado por el Instituto Mexicano de Cinematografía (IMCINE), para la producción de su cortometraje de ficción Monstruo (2013). Participó, con esta obra, en el 6° Festival Internacional de Cine Fantástico y de Terror Mórbido, Michoacán, y en el Short Film Corner del 67° Festival de Cannes, entre otros, y obtuvo una nominación a la Diosa de Plata a Mejor Cortometraje en la 43ª entrega de las Diosas de Plata, México.
