Ha trabajado como responsable de medios en el proyecto Islas de México, de la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM); como coordinadora técnica del proyecto Atlas Geográfico del Estado de Michoacán de la Universidad Autónoma Chapingo, por parte de la Secretaría de Educación del Estado (SEE), Michoacán; y como Directora General de Producciones Bawmer, México. Se ha dedicó a la investigación del cine como una estrategia de aprendizaje significativo para niños y adolescentes, desde preescolar hasta la educación media superior. Participó, como directora, en el 2° Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM) con su largometraje documental, en co-dirección con Javier Morett, Múgica (2004). Produjo el cortometraje de ficción de Javier Morett, Morelia en los orígenes del cine (2006), película ganadora de una Mención Especial en el 4° FICM.
