Image Villegas Gómez; Luis Enrique Dirección, Guión, Producción Estudió la licenciatura en Ciencias de la Comunicación Humana en la Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana (UAM), Ciudad de México. Actualmente, es catedrático en la materia de Producción Audiovisual en la Universidad Latina de América (UNLA), Morelia, y ha impartido, desde 1996, diversos cursos de cinematografía a niños y niñas con el proyecto Juguemos a Grabar, en Michoacán. Ha participado en dos ediciones del Festival Internacional de Cine de Morelia (FICM). En el 1er FICM presentó su cortometraje Manuel Guízar, actor (2002). Fue acreedor al Programa de Apoyo a las Culturas Municipales y Comunitarias (PACMYC) de la Unidad Regional de Culturas Populares e Indígenas en Michoacán, para la realización la serie de cinco cortometrajes en video, Hilos de sueños (2006), sobre niños artesanos del Estado de Michoacán. Ganó, por este compendio, el Premio Principios 2006, otorgado por el Consejo de la Comunicación, México. Su cortometraje documental Cocuchas (2006), hablado en lengua purépecha, ganó el Primer Lugar y el Gran Premio “Bachiller Álvaro Gálvez y Fuentes” en la 1era Muestra Iberoamericana de TV y Video Educativo, así como un Reconocimiento Especial por la preservación Audiovisual de las Tradiciones Populares en el 8° Festival Pantalla de Cristal, México. En el 5° FICM presentó su video documental Juguemos a grabar (continuación) y compitió con su cortometraje De regreso (2007), ganador, éste último, del Primer Lugar en el Concurso Nacional de Producción Radiofónica y Televisiva 2007, convocado por la Red de Radiodifusoras y Televisoras Educativas y Culturales de México; del Primer Lugar en el 3er Festival de Cine y Video Indígena (FECVI), Michoacán; y de una Mención Especial en el 9° Festival Pantalla de Cristal, Ciudad de México. Esta obra pertenece al acervo patrimonial de la Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Educación, la Ciencia y la Cultura (UNESCO).
