Como director de fotografía, sus trabajos Negro (2014) de Daniel Castro, fue ganador del Premio Pantalla de Cristal a Mejor Fotografía, y Nunca regreses (2014) de Leonardo Díaz, Mejor Trabajo en la Sección Michoacana en el 12º FICM, fue parte de una exhibición especial en la edición 54 Semaine de la Critique en el Festival de Cannes, y ganador como Mejor Cortometraje Iberoamericano en la edición 29 del FICG.
