Ruy Osbahal Mascarúa López es un artista visual multidisciplinario, egresado de la
licenciatura en Artes Visuales de la UNAM con desarrollo en ámbitos como la
fotografía, el cine, la animación y los VFX. Su experiencia incluye proyectos
colaborativos donde destacan videos musicales, cinematografía para videojuegos,
modelado 3D, y distintos cortometrajes independientes basados en la animación, el
videoarte y la experimentación en los que se incluyen En la Inmensidad, Optikos,
y su reciente cortometraje animado Adarmia: El Idioma de Otros Ojos una animación
poética y filosófica que desdibuja las líneas entre la animación tradicional y digital, el
cuál ha conseguido ser parte de varios festivales de cine y animación entre los que
se incluyen el 5^o Festival Internacional de Cine MICMX, 19^o Shorts México y el 10^o
Festival Stop Motion MX, consiguiendo en éste último ganar la categoría al Mejor
Stop Motion Experimental.
