December 22. Sixteen years have gone by since the Revolution. The aging Piscoci is retired and getting ready to spend another Christmas by himself. Manescu, a history teacher, tries to avoid using his entire salary to pay his debts. Jderescu, the owner of a local TV station, doesn't seem to be interested in the holy days. Together with Piscoci and Manescu, he wants to find an answer to a 16-year-old question: "Was there a revolution in their town or not?"
