María, a 13-year-old guerrilla soldier, bears witness to the birth of the commander’s child. She is pregnant, too, but decides to keep the news a secret so that the camp doctor won’t force her to have an abortion. Through her eyes, this film shows us the terrible reality of the armed conflict in Colombia.
