The Salamander Pierre, a journalist, and Paul, a novelist, are working on a TV series based on a real news story: a young woman was accused of trying to murder her uncle and released due to lack of evidence. Paul imagines the character; Pierre interviews him. The dreamer and the realist agree to work separately, then compare the results.
