2008 | Color | 30 min In the twenties, in the town of Espinazo, Nuevo León, in Northern Mexico, José de Jesús Fidencio Síntora Constantino, better known as the ?Niño Fidencio?, earned a reputation as a miraculous healer. Since 1938, the year in which he died, a few chosen people, known as Materias (Matter, in opposition to Spirit), or Cajitas (Little Boxes), began receiving the Niño?s spirit, thus perpetuating his charitable work as a healer. Currently, some espíritus de luz (Spirits of Light) are becoming manifest through other Materias or Cajitas, such as Margarita Catalán, Aurorita, the Santo Niño of Atocha and Pancho Villa.
