It is August of 1715 and King Louis XIV is unwell. It all begins with a subtle pain in his leg, but little by little he starts experiencing intense fevers that interrupt his sleep. The King loses his appetite and starts to weaken. This is the start of the long agony of one the greatest French monarchs.
