In August of 1974, a young French man named Philippe Petit, illegally installed a wire between the New York Twin Towers and walked on it attempting to cross from one tower to the other. After about an hour of bouncing on the wire, he was arrested and mentally evaluated. After six and a half years of dreaming of walking on a wire between the towers, he spent eight months in New York plotting with a group of friends and accomplices, how to accomplish the feat. Despite all inconveniences, he finally achieved it.
