Alucarda

In 1750, the orphan Justine comes to live in a convent and meets Alucarda, a strange young woman fascinated with vampire stories. They forge a macabre friendship when Justine hurts her finger and Alucarda drinks her blood. The confessor believes them both to be possessed and tortures them as part of an exorcism. A well-meaning doctor accuses the priest of killing Justine and shelters Alucarda in his home, giving rise to a series of bloody events.
