Marina, 18, orphaned at a young age, travels to the Spanish Atlantic coast to obtain signatures for a scholarship from the paternal grandparents she has never met. She meets new uncles and cousins, unsure whether they will accept her or not. Stirring long-buried emotions and uncovering past wounds, Marina pieces together the fragmented and contradictory memories of the parents she barely remembers.
