It’s often said that sons inherit the sins of their fathers. Eva suffers the opposite: her 15-year-old son, whom she sacrificed her career to raise, has murdered several of his classmates. Haunted by all the unanswered questions about her child’s crime, she expresses her thoughts in letters to her absent husband, desperately seeking some kind of forgiveness or redemption that may never come.
