Heart of Gold

Heart of Gold is inspired by the painting A Man Offering Gold and Coins to a Girl, by Godfried Schalcken, wich dates back to 1665-70. What at first appears to be a romantic encounter between a couple in love, turns out to be a deal made in a brothel, where two people with troubled pasts find a common ground to get what they want, at a price they are willing to pay.

A man and a woman have a strange encounter. She disappears from his sight. He will do anything in his power to find her again and see if they are destined to be together. But destiny has its own way of working.
