Lina is a 12-year-old girl who lives with her grandmother in a dark, gloomy old house and goes to a girl´s school a few blocks away. Her life is lonely and dull. She goes to school and back, has no one to play with and no one to share secrets and laughter with, until one day, she finds a friend and they are happy together. They are so happy that Lina?s grandmother wants to make that happiness last forever...
