He has directed short fiction films, music videos and worked also as a cinematographer. Recently, his debut documentary Las Hostilidades won the Work in Progress Award at the Los Cabos International Film Festival, the Best Documentary Award at the Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), and the TV UNAM Award at the FICUNAM; it has also been part of the official selection at the IDFA and Hot Docs festivals.
