He participated in the 7th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) with his short animated film Missing Bones (2009). This film won the award for Best Animated Short at the 5th Short Film Festival “Cinema to the streets”, Mexico; and it was also part of the Official Selection of the 5th National Design Biennal, Mexico; of the 6th Student Film Festival KINOKI, Mexico; of the 5th ANIMA, Córdoba International Animation Festival, Argentina; and of the 1st Chihuahua International Film Festival (FICCCH), México, among other festivals. Past and present weave a flurry of images; fragmented memories of this land. Ancient deities are incarnated, while dreams overlap among intimacy, complicity and the tumult. With a Super-8 camera that once belonged to his father and has remained untouched for 41 years, he plans to retrace the path of the shepherd: the journey of transhumance that his grandfather undertook in his youth, following now-forgotten coordinates.
